As soon as you make contact, I will arrange a mutually convenient date and time to visit you to discuss your decorating requirements. This will enable me to prepare a detailed Estimate for you, setting out the costs of labour and materials, based on current trade and retail prices.
I normally prepare my written estimates over the weekend immediately following my visit. However, if it possible to get it to you any earlier, then I will endeavour to do so. Estimates are normally sent by email but if you need a printed copy by post then I can do that for you.
I receive discounts from some Trade Suppliers on the materials that I purchase and if I do, these discounts are passed on to my customers.
Estimates are provided in good faith, based on what I observe and what we discuss during my visit. However, unforeseen situations can occur from time to time e.g. damaged plaster obscured by furniture, or beneath an existing wall covering and not apparent until furniture has been moved and the existing wall covering removed. I can't make any provision for such events in my estimate costings - therefore, if any issues become apparent after work has begun, you will be informed immediately. We can then discuss in detail, what additional work will be required and what additional charges will apply. This way, you will be kept fully informed every step of the way.
